Do you ever wish you had just a simple grocery list of what you needed to get your home biz started online?

mygrocerylistBy reading this article, you’ll learn the three absolute must-have online business tools that a network marketer needs to start their biz on the Internet. You’ll grasp how these tools create the basic foundation for your business strategy online and get an overview of how these tools will automate your business while simultaneously branding yourself as someone that others will want to know more about. And as a new online marketer, you’ll come away with the knowledge of what to look for when choosing and setting up your own online marketing system.

You must have these three “biz start” tools

You must have:

(1) A central hub page, aka: home base

(2) A lead capture page, aka: splash page, squeeze page, or landing page, and

(3) An email autoresponder.ITtoolbox

A central hub page is a main webpage containing valued content about you, your products, or your message that you want to drive traffic to. This can be a blog, a website, or even a social media profile like what you may have on Facebook. This is considered your home base.

A capture page is a webpage that allows an interested person to give you his/her name and email address (or “opt in”) in exchange for more information on whatever you’re promoting. This page “captures” the person’s information with their permission.

An email autoresponder is an email service that allows you to automatically send a series of emails to your list of interested people that have “opted in” on your capture page.

Build a basic foundation for your online business strategy

These three tools working together create your basic online system foundation. They go together like peanut butter and jelly…and bread. You’ll want these in place from the beginning before you start any type of marketing.  Here’s how they work for your new online biz to start functioning.

First, You drive traffic to your central hub (we’ll talk about how to drive traffic in a whole other issue later, so stay with me). This traffic, we’ll call ‘em peeps, come to your central hub to find out more about you, who you are, what you do, what you promote, and articles and content that can help with their particular interest. They are spawning a relationship with you.
Second, You have a link within your home base that leads to a capture page. If your peeps like you and are interested in more of what you have to say or a product that you promote, they will “opt in” (and at this point, they will be known as leads). They give you permission to continue communication in exchange for receiving something of value to them.
Now you have rights to keep that wonderful message of yours (and maybe your beautiful mug, too) in front of your leads. You do this with the third step – an email autoresponder. It will send out prewritten emails at specified times constantly making your leads aware of your awesome qualities …or whatever you are promoting.

Are you automating your online business?

Having these 3 tools up and running are the first steps to automating your online business. Your hub page is fostering a relationship with your peeps. Your capture page is building your leads list and prospecting. Your email autoresponder is the ambassador of goodwill, nurturing your relationship with your leads and transforming them into a paying audience, not once, but hopefully over and over again.

These three tools constantly work for you, leveraging your time and effort. They allow you a structure to plug in your content, and then disburse it immediately worldwide, working for you day and night, forever…or as long as you want.

Brand Yourself as Someone of Value

Branding is a collection of experiences and associations connected with a service, person, or any other entity – taken from our good friend Wikipedia. The experiences and services associated with you  and your online biz should be viewed as valuable to your audience.

By having a capture page, autoresponder, and central hub in place, you not only allow yourself less stress of performing all operations, but also allow your audience to have the best possible experience with you and your brand. They choose to find out more about you. They choose to listen further to your message. They get to choose to have a relationship with you without being solicited. Then they can choose whether to become your customer or not. But that’s not the end game. Incorporating these 3 biz start tools into your online business strategy is essential for your audience to become repeat customers, and that is the end game.
